We have a new pond at Manley Copse!
Unfortunately the old pond had developed a leak and as it had attracted so much wildlife into the area we felt that it should be upgraded!
A few members gathered to dig out a new hole and install the new pond. We had lots of fun sorting it all out, lots of measuring and reassurances!

The walking group had a lovely walk around Helsby this week. we walked along the hill and into Harmer’s Wood, then through the quarry. As all good walks should, we ended up at the tea shop!
A lovely walk and we didn’t get too wet!
Our July meeting had an American theme as it was 4th July so we had a go at some line dancing! We had a great time and some of us managed to keep in time!

We took along our Cheshire Show entries for the group to see, and Cath and Gill made more of their delicious cakes for everyone to try.

To have 4 entries which all received a certificate is something that Frodsham WI is proud of. Well done to you all
We should also mention that some of us were judges’ stewards and some of us helped with refreshments and stewards during the Cheshire Show itself. It’s great to get involved with WI events happening in our area!
